FUTURE LEADER SCHOLARSHIP

Future Leader Scholarship (FLS) was established with the mission of making a lasting impact on our communities. Inspired by the belief of the founder’s
mother, who held that education is one of the most powerful tools to elevate society and improve the lives of families, the scholarship aims to invest today in
the leaders of tomorrow—the next generation. This initiative seeks to utilize all available resources to benefit multiple communities, fostering growth and
opportunities for advancement.

Through partnerships with community organizations, corporations, churches, local businesses, and individuals, we strive to uplift our communities and provide meaningful support.

Purpose and Goals:

  1. Provide Financial Assistance: Offering support to underprivileged students, enabling them to pursue their educational aspirations by reducing
    financial barriers.
  2. Promote the Importance of Higher Education: Emphasizing the critical role that higher education plays in both personal and societal advancement.
  3. Celebrate Student Achievements: Recognizing and honoring the hard work and accomplishments of dedicated students.
    Since its inception in 1998, the Future Leader Scholarship has been a collaborative community effort. Corporations, businesses, community organizations, churches, and individual partners have united to implement this grassroots initiative, making a significant difference by investing in today’s youth and building tomorrow’s
    leaders.

For twenty-five years, the FLS campaign has been a beacon of hope for deserving college-bound students. The application process includes submitting an essay on specified topics, along with a resume and proof of acceptance to an accredited institution. A dedicated team of professionals carefully reviews these submissions to select the annual recipients.
